Soooo I have until next month off work, what else can I do with myself other than go for random drives and walks.
Today was a pretty nice day, so I decided to go to the Trough of Bowland, had a wander around and decided to head on and go for a bit of a drive. Not sure how good an idea this was, but I ended up in North Yorkshire, and having to follow signs to find Clithroe, to head back to Preston.
Well worth it though, was a beautiful day, and even though I diddn’t get any really good pics, It was nice to get out of the house on my own and have some quiet time thinking
See deviantart for any pics I put up :).

OMG another event in my fun filled life. A chipped windscreen on my car
Today I had to go down to work to get my wallet that i’d left esterday evening (a mere 50 mile drive) so decided to take my camera and go for a walk/go the scenic route back. But not long after having got my wallet back, a bloody stone came up and chipped my windscreen, kind of making me want to just go home and ring to get it sorted
Bloody cars, if it needs a new windscreen it’ll cost me a £75 excess, and they won’t be able to get to me till monday
Oh well, hopefully I can get some decent shots tomorrow, I have an idea for a conceptual shot that I need to do in the morning, lets see how that gets on.

oh dear.
I noticed a dead pixel on my 400d’s lcd review screen this morning :-(. I had to promptly call jessops to arrange to swap it for another body, which surprisingly enough wasn’t that difficult
I only had to just take the body and they took a new one out of another box and gave me the replacement, job’s a good’un.
Now if only it wasn’t such a miserable day, it has dried up but I now don’t fancy going out for a walk like I had planned. boo…

So this week I’ve been doing a RHEL course (easy peasy RHCT); and have been quite bored as it was easy, and things that I really have to have already known to do my job :-), so it came as no surprise to me when i passed, with very very little effort. This pass was also a pass mark of no less than 100%!
What’s better though is that I have finally bought my camera :D, and oh dear is it shiney. not really had much chance to go for a random walk to take some shots yet. I did plan on going for a walk in the altringham countryside this lunch but decided that spilling coffee down me in the exam break was more fun. Woo. Maybe if I get up early enough I can catch the early morning light and go get some photos …
